Hello friends!
We recently had our first snow, which turned everything white within a few hours. My kids were super happy))) and me too! Somehow, this snow has inspired me to create two winter cards, which turned very snowy))))
Here's my first card. I saw a painting online, bummer I don't have the reference to it... but I wanted to create a siluette of a bird sitting on brances in evening sky...
I've created my background with distress inks blended, then stamped the tree brunchs in black ink and added two birds... After that I added a lot of splatters with white acrylic paint. After it was dry I thought it needed a bit of sparkle, or shimmer, so I mixed a bit of perfect pearls with water and made some more splatters... )))
Oh, yes, it feels as if I had to stop earlier, but it's been snowing heavily, you know))))
And my second card also features dstress ink blended background and a set of stamps "Magical Forest". This card went through some changes in the process, and in the end I found this gorgeous die cut of tho deer and trees, so I had to use it in this card! :)
When my background was inked, I stamped some trees in black ink and some in clear ink and heat embossed with silver pearl embossing powder. The die cut was set to foam tape.
This time I didn't go crazy with splatters)))) Just a bit for the snowy mood))) and of course some perfect pearls splatters as well)))
That would be it for this time. Hope you find my cards inspiring and shouting "yay" for snowy weather))))
Love and hugs to you, Tasha
